Repair and Maintanance

Preventative car maintenance and routine inspections can go a long way when it comes to keeping your car in peak condition

Brakes

The braking system in your car is one of the most important safety components, allowing you to slow down, stop, avoid potential accidents and keep your car stationary when parked. There’s a lot more to the braking system than just brake pads; it’s vital that you get the entire system checked regularly to ensure your family travels safely.

Cambelt

The timing belt tends to operate other components, the condition of which affects the belt’s life. Excessive slack may be compensated for by one or two tensioners and idlers. Over time, their bearings may dry out, causing a squeak that should be heeded. In some cases, idlers and tensioners can seize, throwing the timing belt from its pulleys and causing extensive damage to the engine, with bent valves and even holed pistons resulting.

Suspension

Your car’s suspension system maximises the friction between the tyres and the road surface, to provide steering stability with good handling and to ensure the comfort of the passengers. If you don’t service it regularly, you’re in for a bumpy ride

Battery

As cars continue to evolve, so do their auto-electrical systems. Today, your car’s auto electrical system controls almost every driving function. That’s why ensuring these systems and devices are working correctly is the only way to ensure your car runs well.

Transmission

Whether you drive a manual or an automatic, it's important to keep your car's transmission running smoothly. Automatic transmissions need regular servicing to ensure maximum performance, economy and service life. Manual transmissions also need servicing although this usually includes less complicated tasks, such as replacing the fluids and/or making minor adjustments

CV Boot

CV boot kits are designed to cover all the important constant velocity joints (CV joints) that attach to each end of a drive shaft, also protects the CV Joint by preventing water ingress and stops loss of grease. CVs act to transfer a constant speed torque to the wheels as well as support up and down suspension motion
